Eljen Geotextile Sand Filter Systems

The Eljen Geotextile Sand Filter (GSF) is an alternative for on-site septic leachfield systems.
GSF modules consist of a geotextile fabric and a plastic core material that work together to provide vertical surface area and oxygen transfer. Treated effluent is applied to the soil, increasing its long-term acceptance rate. A specified sand layer provides additional filtration and prevents saturated conditions.
Benefits
- Lightweight and easy to handle.
- Flexible site installation with reduced site impact.
- Provides treatment and disposal in the same footprint.
- Unique design provides increased surface area for biological treatment of nutrients and contaminants.
- Takes the burden of treatment and biomat development off of the native soil.

If you are installing an Eljen GSF system in Pennsylvania for the first time, these are the pictures we want you to see! We’ll be onsite to assist you, but want you to have some idea of the layout.
Traditional End Feeds
A traditional end feed is easier and you only have clean outs on one end. Give us a call and we can discuss switching from center to end.
